News: I am writing a book!

The Nerd Reich: Silicon Valley Fascism and the War on Democracy will be published by Avid Reader Press. Here's the official announcement:

A few months ago, I was thinking of ending my freelance writing career and getting a “real job.” This month, I sold a book to a major publisher at auction.

What’s my secret? Take enormous financial and professional risks to tell a story no one else can and/or will tell. Push hard for years and then realize it isn’t going anywhere. Polish up your résumé and get ready for the job hunt.

And then get “lucky” when the tech fascist cult you’ve been warning about starts to systematically destroy your country in plain sight.

These are not the circumstances under which I wanted to get my first book deal, but this is our new reality. I’m staying in the game. And I’m escalating.

Thank you all for being along for this journey. I have a ton of writing to do this year, but I'll find a way to keep this newsletter very lively.
